Take a class! Interested in needle felting, ceramics, glass fusing, etc? ArtistTree Studio offers classes in all of these and more- check out their website for a monthly list (http://artisttreestudio.com/events.html ) My favorite part: all materials and tool use are included in their reasonable fees.
Drop off the kids! The "Creativity Cafe" is ArtistTree Studio's summer art camp for kids. They promise quality art classes for kids (call 760- 471-7450 for more details)
Support local artists! ArtistTree Studio hosts a gallery of featured artists, all from San Diego. You can check them out here (http://artisttreestudio.com/Featured-Artisans.html )
Go shopping! They carry a variety of art supplies, including: silk paints and paintables, vintage collage ephemera, acrylic paints, jewelry findings, fire-kiln clay and glazes, and so much more. You can access a .pdf file of what they carry here (http://artisttreestudio.com/Products.html )
Go to their Open House! This Thursday, June 21st, from 6-8 pm you can visit ArtistTree Studio & Art Marketplace at 1001 W San Marcos Blvd, Suite 190 San Marcos, CA 92078 and see what they're all about for yourself. They will be serving complimentary refreshments and you can watch mixed-media artist Karin Bovee in action. How fun!
