Friends of Skateworld - Sponsors Needed!

Our friends, the Friends of Skateworld, are looking for sponsors to help out with some upcoming events. If you would like to help out, or if you know of a business that would like to lend a hand, please contact them at: friendsofskateworldblog@yahoo.com! This is a great cause! What could be better than helping to save San Diego's last roller rink? Plus, they've been getting lots of media coverage, so it's a win-win! Be sure to visit Skateworld and support them by skating! Don't forget to come to the next Support Rally on August 25th - rally at 6pm and open skating from 7 - 9 pm for just $2! All proceeds go to the fund to help save this rink!

It's a Linda Vista Family Reunion Tomorrow!

This weekend is the 2nd Annual Linda Vista Family Reunion. This fundraising event will benefit the Linda Vista Recreation Center. Visitors will enjoy live music, games, food, opportunity drawings - and more! Look for our friends - the Friends of Skateworld - who will have a booth where you can pick up a Friends of Skateworld t-shirt or bracelet and show your support for Skateworld roller rink! Let's help to keep this fabulous rink in Linda Vista! The ladies from San Diego Roller Derby will be helping out that day. Be sure to pick up your tickets for their next game happening on August 21st! It all helps to support Skateworld! Be seen and be heard! Show your support for San Diego's ONLY remaining roller rink. Show the city council that you want Skateworld to stay! Don't let Donna Frye give the land to a developer. This is an historic building! Tell everyone you know & let's get everyone out there!
