The big day is almost here -- less than one week until the San Diego North Park Craft Mafia Holiday Hit List Show this Sunday, December 7th! The swag bags (available for the first 100 shoppers to arrive at the show) have been assembled with the very creative and quality goodies from our vendors and some special friends. These bags are pink, re-usable totes, with the SDNPCM logo on one side and a shout-out to our sponsor, Filter, on the other.

Sight and Sound event at Ray at Night Saturday, November 22nd!

A few of us from the San Diego North Park Craft Mafia will be appearing at the Sight and Sound event at Planet Rooth & 4 Walls Gallery on Ray St. for Ray at Night this Saturday night, November 22nd, from 7-11 pm. This promises to be a super fun event, with music, performers, free tastings and freebies from us Mafia ladies!

$5 gets you in the door and also a complimentary beverage. Proceeds are to benefit the Autism Research Institute. Hope to see you there!

There is still time left to get an ad in the 2008 HHL program!

Today is the deadline to place an ad in the program for the 2008 Holiday Hit List, to be held Sunday, December 7 at the historic NTC promenade in Point Loma. This is a great opportunity to get out the word about your business to savvy holiday shoppers. Due to extensive promotion, we expect huge crowds to attend the show. We will be printing 1000 copies that will be distributed throughout San Diego and the day of our event. We will give away FREE programs of the event with an advertising section in the back. Our first anniversary celebration Friday, October 10th at U-31!

It's almost impossible to believe but it has already been a year since we have started our little group! My, how we have grown! We will be hosting a fantastic party at U-31 in North Park to celebrate our First Anniversary, and we want you to be there! The event starts at 7 pm and we will be serving up hors d'oeuvres and cake to compliment the wonderful cocktails at U-31. The members of the San Diego North Park Craft Mafia will also be selling their unique, crafty wares. And because it is our "paper" anniversary, we will also be featuring paper crafts for you to make and wow us with. We can't wait to party with you!

The next Crafty Conspiracy will be held September 23 at Filter Coffee House in North Park

We had so much fun at the last Crafty Conspiracy and are really looking forward to this next one. Join us on Tuesday evening, September 23rd, from 7-9pm to craft, chat, and indulge in the goodies served up at Filter Coffee House. Our very own Sarah will be leading us in a crafting project (detailed list of supplies can be found to the right in the "Upcoming Events" column). We will also have some random supplies out for your crafting pleasure -- or just bring whatever you are working on to show off your mad skillz!

Time flies when you are having fun crafting, and the holidays are approaching fast! We are already busy planning the spectacular 2008 Holiday Hit List and we are looking for vendors! This will be a super HUGE event -- to be held at the NTC Promenade at Liberty Station in Point Loma on Sunday, December 7th. If you have a crafty independent business and are in or planning to be in the San Diego area the first week of December, then you don't want to miss out on this opportunity! The San Diego North Park Craft Mafia is pleased to be having a special Sunday, Crafty Sunday show at the Ken Club in the heart of Kensington, San Diego. This event will be done summer style -- HOT bands, HOT burlesque ladies, HOT prizes, and as always, HOT vendors and their crafty wares! Come out and cool off with a cocktail while you peruse the fancy items for sale, and rock out with fantastic entertainment. We will be there from 12 to 8 pm, but make sure you get there early -- the first 50 people in the door will receive a free gift bag!

A Trunk Show at Pawparazzi!

NPCM Founding Member, Svea Komori, is having a show! Pawparazzi Pet Boutique will be hosting a trunk show for Belle Pepper Couture on Friday, April 25th from 5-8 pm. The San Diego North Park Craft Mafia is ecstatic to be announcing our huge spring spectacular show—the Spring Line Up! It will be held on Sunday, March 30th at the Masonic Hall in North Park! "Meet and Greet" with the San Diego North Park Craft Mafia 1/12/08!

We hope everyone had a great holiday!  Now it is time to get back to business.  We here at the San Diego North Park Craft Mafia are rested and ready for 2008.   We are going to begin the New Year with a “Meet & Greet” at the amazing Claire De Lune in North Park.  If you haven’t been to the Claire de Lune, they have great coffee and other goodies!   This gathering is open to anyone who has an interest in joining our group and wants to meet us and see what we’re all about.   It will be a relaxed atmosphere where we can feel free to chat and to get to know each other.  We hope to see you there and look forward to meeting you!
