Less than a week left! Apps due 11/3/07 for the Holiday Hit List!

There is only one week left to apply to be part of our holiday extravaganza, the Holiday Hit List , to be held at the fabulous Bar Pink Elephant in North Park.  Forget the overrated holiday mall experience!  Come relax with us, sip a cocktail or two, and peruse the fantastic handcrafted merchandise provided by crafty vendors who will be there selling incredible, hand-crafted items for those on your shopping "hit list", as well as a DJ to provide some hit tunes, a fashion show- and other surprises.  Be there, or be square!

Southern California Fires

The entire county of San Diego, as well as a large portion of Southern California, has been under siege by raging wildfires since last Sunday. The members of our group have been lucky; only one of us had to be evacuated, and she and her family are safe. Our hearts go out to those who have suffered any losses, or anyone who has been displaced during this tragic event. For anyone who would like to help out, we encourage you to refer to this page for a list of reputable organizations to contact. Also check out the Alpha Project, an organization that helps out the homeless. They are distributing masks and water to homeless people who are unable to find shelter from the unhealthy air and heat.

The holidays are coming!

The premier event hosted by the (San Diego) North Park Craft Mafia will be a holiday shopping extravaganza--The Holiday Hit List! We've teamed up with our friends at the fabulous Bar Pink Elephant, in North Park, to bring this event to you. The Holiday Hit List will be a shopping encounter quite unlike the typical frantic, nerve-racking mall experience. Who needs that when you can relax with us, sip a cocktail or two, and peruse the fantastic handcrafted merchandise of the Holiday Hit List? We'll have a squad of crafty vendors who will be there selling incredible, hand-crafted items for those on your shopping "hit list", as well as a DJ to provide some hit tunes, a fashion show, and other surprises. Not only will you be able to enjoy some fantastic drinks and music, you can get your holiday shopping done at the same time. Don't miss it!

On Oct. 17th we'll begin accepting applications for vendors who want to join up with us to make the Holiday Hit List the event of the season. Check out our FAQs page for more info and our website for updates!

Attention all toy dog fanciers and people who love 'em!

Toy Dog Fanciers of North San Diego County will hold its ninth and tenth Toy Group Dog shows on Saturday and Sunday, October 6 and October 7, 2007, at the Del Mar Horse Park, 14550 El Camino Real in Del Mar, California. Our very own Belle Pepper Couture will be on hand to handle any small dog accessory needs. Check it out!
